Earthquake Tower guide

The clearest current fact is its 1.0 buff: range increased from 4 to 5 and damage from 8 to 10. Older complaints about short reach describe an earlier version.

How to evaluate it in a run

The range and damage increase are real version changes, but they do not establish an overall tower ranking. Compare the tower in the context of your route, available space, target pattern, and the other towers you can place.

  • Leave room for its footprint while you shape the maze; a strong placement is harder to make after every useful tile is occupied.
  • Look at actual coverage over the path rather than treating the displayed range as damage uptime.
  • Compare its next upgrade against adding coverage from another tower, based on the next wave.

Details that remain uncertain

The supplied research does not verify the complete upgrade tree, upgrade costs, or a controlled DPS comparison for the 1.0 build. Community comments that called the tower weak or short-ranged were made before the documented buff and should not be presented as current verdicts.
